Control & Restraints Course
Early 2010
A Control & Restraints course is being planned for the new year. The course is based on Home Office approved techniques taught within the Prison Service for the control of uncooperative prisoners by a group of trained officers. As well as being a very practical and physical course where you will learn and practice the techniques employed, you will also learn how the law differs from that applicable to personal self defence. For this reason the course is very useful for anyone involved with or interested in security work, e.g. security guards, event marshals, door supervisors, etc.
The course will be run by Optimal Martial Arts instructor Roger Green, who is an authorised advanced instructor in Control & Restraint techniques and methods. The course will only be open to existing WYSOK members over the age of 18. If you are interested in attending, please email roger.green@optimalmartialarts.co.uk for more information.
